• Goggles are mandatory.

• 5-a-side with subbing on the fly.

• Matches will be four quarters of 12 minutes, with one-minute break after the first and third quarter, and two-minutes break after the second quarter. Change of ends at half time. Play will start five minutes after the scheduled start time (i.e. 7:05pm and 8:05pm), regardless of whether teams are ready to play.  

• There are no boundaries however if play is too close to equipment and becomes dangerous, play will be paused and brought away from the equipment. 

• Indoor balls will be used. 

• A goal will be disallowed if any part of the goal-scorer's stick enters the goal on the shot. 

• All fouls will result in a 30-second / one-goal man-down penalty (whichever is sooner). 

• Play will start from the centre circle at the start of each quarter, and after each goal. The ball must be passed and not run, out of the centre. Teams will alternate in taking the centre, except for when a team is down by more than five goals. When this is the case, possession is awarded to the losing team at the centre circle after a goal is scored. 

• There is no minimum number of passes permitted before a goal, and there is no maximum time a player is allowed to hold the ball for. 

• Power Play: each team will receive two points per goal in a quarter of their choice. The quarter needs to be communicated to the umpires before the start of their chosen quarter.

• Each team will be required to provide an umpire to umpire the match before or after their own. Each team member is required to umpire a minimum of one match per term. One umpire will manage the score, the other the clock. One point will be deducted from any team failing to provide an umpire for their designated match.

• Mouthguards are mandatory at all times. No jewellery is permitted. 

Points:

• Four points are awarded for a win, two points for a draw and one point for a team who loses by more than half of the other team's score.

• A team that is not able to field at least three of their own players for any given match will have one point deducted. A team that is not able to field any of their own players will have two points deducted. 

• A team that is not able to provide an umpire will have one point deducted.

• Players that miss more than two games in this block risk not being selected for future leagues.
